“Hello and welcome to Double R Driving School! My Name is Ricardo “Rick” Mazzoni. I’ve been involved with the driving school industry for the last 24 years, accumulating over 42,000 hours teaching behind-the-wheel and 15 years of Drivers Education classes. I owned and operated a driving school in California from 2005 to 2015 where for 5 years running, I received the award for “Best Drivers Education Classroom” from 2008 to 2013 and the award for “Best All Around Driving School” 6 times from 2008 to 2014.
I started as a one man show, eventually growing my driving school into a fleet of seven cars with five full-time instructors and two part-time instructors. We take pride in the valuable teachings of new drivers whether they are teens or adults. Our first time drivers taking their driving test have passed at a 94% success rate. And believe it or not parallel parking is my most favorite thing to teach.
